About Course - D.Pharm
The D. Pharm Degree course is a two-year program.
Diploma in Pharmacy is a short-term programme for aspirants who want to foray into pharmaceutical business and pharmacy jobs. The course is ideal for students who seek short programmes in the pharmacy domain as B.Pharm and Pharm.D are long-term courses of up to 6 years. Diploma in pharmacy can also be pursued in order to understand the basics of the programme and pursue advanced courses in this field.
The duration of the course shall be for 2 academic years (Non Semester) with each academic year spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eighty working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Exam (+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as optional Subjects and equivalent there to are eligible to apply.
Admission Requirements
The GRD College of Pharmacy is research oriented institution; its students have the opportunity to be taught and mentored by faculty pursuing cutting edge research in the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy Practice.
- Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied
- HSC/Pre-Degree/ AISSCE/ ISCE/ Intermediate or equivalent mark statement.
- Migration Certificate for the students who have passed other than HSC Examination of Tamil Nadu.
- Community Certificate (except OC candidates)
- Eligibility Certificate obtained from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai for students who have passed their Qualifying examination other than HSC Examination, Tamil Nadu.
- Passport Size Photographs (10 Nos) & Stamp Size Photographs (6 Nos)
